- Each members need to read and summarize about the Case Study in Small Business in North-West Tasmania

- Divide the question (each member have been given the specific question by group leader)
- After members complete on their task, the result and answer need to be submit to group leader to be combine for overall conclusion based on the question given.

- the re-engineering process must be specific
- after choose the process, the assumption,challenges and also ideas need to be explain based on the process.
For example:
-> If the assumption is in a marketing process, we need to tell that the matter
is in the marketing process. So, there is more clear and audience can understand

Content:To show and explain what actually we have done in few weeks before regarding our project such as company background, activities, project plan, problems and issues occur.

Week 4 Progress Report









We have met the owner of Dr. Pet Bandar Baru Bangi, Pn Ramlah and had a brief talk with her about the background of the shop. Besides finding out the core processes involve and the usage of IT in the business. From the meeting , we have discovered a few improvements which can be carried out to make the business more effective and efficient.

Finding the Subject


Today I've been to Dr. Pet Bandar Baru Bangi (pet shop) to ask for their permission to become our subject for the case study. The owner of the pet shop was willing to become the subject and agreed to meet us again in this coming Thursday's evening for the interviewing session. Each of us need to construct some of questions which going to be asked during the interview later. I was really enjoyed this new experience and really looking forward to do the interviewing.

Description/Activities:
a)Each of us have present the DFD/workflow diagram of our topic.It help us and others to understand the business better.
b)Select which topics is suitable.

Remarks:
a)After all members present their DFD/workflow from their research, all of us decided to choose Pet Shop and also Bakery Shop to explore n get more details about this two business because both business are really interesting and their system more efficient.
b)Siti Zubaidah proposed to include Clinic business system in our final list of topics.Its because she said that Clinic system is quiet systematic and have a lot of process for our case study.

Next Steps:
a)Draft a permission letter for site visit and request a signature from Puan Rosnafisah.
b)We decided to go somewhere area Bangi or Serdang for a site visit to get more information about every topics that we have choose.

The whole week try to find as much as I can to get some information about the laundry business process which includes their management process such as:

4)Sales and marketing

After doing some research, here some of their business process that involve in Laundry System.
1)Laundry Services (Customer send their clothes )- Wash,Dry,Iron
2)Selling - Hanger, accessories, etc.
3)Ordering - Order equipments, accessories, etc.
4)Marketing - Promotion, supplier, etc.
5)Financing - Account management
6)Technical Services - Provide a technical services such as repair the washing
machine.
